This article discusses your options for student registration.
Option 1: Register students with the Join Code (Recommended)
- Navigate to your Rosters tab
- Select the Students tab in the top navigation bar

- Select + Add Student in the upper right corner

- Your Join Code will be displayed along with the instructions for students
***Account administrators may customize the join code following these steps.

To help share your Join Code with students, download the How to Sign Up for PLT4M flyer. You can hang this in your weight room/classroom. Be sure to write your join code in the space provided!
- Once students enter the Join Code, they'll be presented with the following options:

- Register with email - student enters an email and creates a password
- Register with Google - Single Sign On with Google credentials
- Register with Apple - Single Sign On with Apple Credentials
- Register with ClassLink (Requires ClassLink integration) - A student should only choose this option if they've already been rostered via ClassLink
- Register with Clever - Single Sign On with Clever credentials
If you'd like to Roster students in PLT4M via ClassLink, reach out to support@plt4m.com with your ClassLink Source ID & ClassLink tenant ID.
Option 2: Invite Students via Manual Entry or List Import
You can also invite students manually with their name and email, or import a list. However, this REQUIRES students verify their email and set up their account via a link sent to their email. Due to school firewalls, or students not checking email, this tends to cause hurdles as you look to get started. For this reason, it is highly suggested that you use the Join Code (see option 1)!
- Navigate to your Rosters tab
- Select the Students tab in the top navigation bar
- Select + Add Students
- At this juncture, you may choose to invite students manually by entering their names and emails in the space provided, or, you may import a list of students names and emails by selecting Choose File
- Once students are added via manual entry or import, they will receive an email invitation with an activation link. They must click the activation link to complete their PLT4M registration.

Please Note: Since this method requires student email verification, please make sure you've added PLT4M to your school's safe sender list to ensure the email invitation gets delivered.
Option 3: Register students with ClassLink
If your school uses ClassLink, you can add PLT4M as a rostering application. In order to sync rosters into PLT4M via ClassLink, be sure to send your ClassLink Source ID & ClassLink tenant ID to us at support@plt4m.com so we can establish a connection.
- Once rostered via ClassLink, students may activate their accounts by navigating to the PLT4M login page: https://app.plt4m.com/sign_in
- Students will choose "Sign In with ClassLink"
- Students will be redirected to ClassLinks Login page. Upon successfully logging into ClassLink, they will automatically be logged into PLT4M.

PLT4M Pro Tip: For the best experience, we HIGHLY recommended using the Join Code sign up option. If you import a list or enter students manually, students are required to activate their account via email verification. Many schools have a firewall that blocks students from getting out of network emails, so if you choose this option, make sure you check with your IT team first to ensure that your students are able to receive emails from PLT4M.
