# Create an Exercise

## Can’t find an exercise in PLT4M? Add your own to the exercise library.

💡E**xercises** can be created within Builder or directly through the Resources tab. Both methods are outlined below. 

### To create an exercise in Resources:

1. Navigate to your **Resources** tab 
2. Select **+ Add Content**

3. Name your exercise 
4. Optional: 
     - - Add a video URL to embed a video (must be YouTube)
           - **Choose File** to upload an image/GIF (accepted file types: jpeg, png, gif, \<5MB)
           - Provide a description
           - select a category

5\. Select **Save exercise**

***Please note:*** If you upload BOTH a video URL and image file, the video will trump the image.

### To create an exercise in Builder:

1. Navigate to your **Builder** tab
2. Create or select a custom program

3. Select a day and choose **Add exercise**

4. Choose **Create new exercise** within the exercise library panel

5. Name your exercise
6.  Optional: 
     - - Add a video URL to embed a video (must be YouTube)

           - Provide a description
           - select a category
7. Select **Save exercise **

***Please note:*** Once you've added an exercise, it can be built into any custom program and accessed by students and staff members in their account.
