PLT4M System Requirements

Taking these steps ensures that you'll have full access to the PLT4M site.

Many schools have safeguards in place that may interfere with how students engage with PLT4M. This document outlines steps you can take to ensure PLT4M is fully accessible for all staff and students at your school. Ideally, you'll want to share this document with your technology team.

1. Website & App Access

Domains to Whitelist

PLT4M.com
app.PLT4M.com
assets.plt4m.com

For our PD eCourses:

classroom.plt4m.com

platform.thinkific.com

2. Emails to Whitelist

PLT4M does not market to students. The only time we email students is when they've requested a password reset. It is important to allow students to receive PLT4M emails for password recovery.

→Add to your contact list/safe sender list:

mtasv.net (this is the domain they send from)

info@plt4m.com

support@plt4m.com

3. Video Compatibility

All of the PLT4M videos are embedded from YouTube. If your school has a YouTube block in place, this could impact students' ability to view the PLT4M videos. Please follow the steps below to un-block PLT4M videos for students:

Step 1: Allow PLT4M's YouTube Channel

Try adding the below YouTube channel to your "allowed" list:

/channel/UC4eizySs3nCpNcHIvSaY7bg

-OR-

Step 2: Investigate 3rd Party Blocks

If the PLT4M content is still being blocked after completing the above step, it's possible that your school partners with a filtering software (i.e. Securly or GoGuardian) which is blocking PLT4M's embedded content.  We recommend involving your technology team, to see if they can disable this block when students are using PLT4M. Please reach out to support@plt4m.com directly for help troubleshooting.

Step 3: Switch Hosting Source

If your school is unable to workaround the YouTube block using the steps above, reach out to us at support@plt4m.com, and request that your account be switched to self-hosted videos.

4. Auto Sign-Out

Some schools use browser extensions to frequently clear cookies (specifically when a student visits a page with a YouTube video) and thus log students out of their PLT4M account. This can be disruptive to the students experience in PLT4M. If this is happening to your students, please reach out to us at support@plt4m.com so we can help you troubleshoot.
